To Nowhere

Today was the most depressing day of the trip so far (which isn't saying much because the trip has been GREAT so far).  As I wrote yesterday, we weren't able to go to Yellowstone because of the snow, but we decided to go to a different park.  So we headed out in the morning.

Driving.

Driving.

Driving.

Snow.

Oh no!  We could handle the little bit of snow yesterday, but this was heavier snow.  And we were only getting higher in elevation.  Cloud doesn't have anti-lock breaks, and we were also concerned about if the road would freeze tonight.  So, with great sadness and much frustration we headed back down the mountain.  Gah!!  So so so annoying.  To be fair - the drive was beautiful.  But the ending was a let down.

In the end we headed back to Lander for the evening and to sort out of next few days.  Tomorrow (weather willing, apparently) we'll head to Salt Lake City.
